The pitching of story ideas are done; my story has been updated since, and now the concept has changed slightly. It is now not as animation based, and has a more solid story. Keeping the Cyberpunk, Food themes, as well as the characters, the story is now about how Dinda the tiny robot learns how to not judge a book by its cover, after meeting the huge and intimidating Bob.
I titled the story “Bob”, after one of the main characters; he is a retired soldier turned ramen chef, who aspires to make people happy with his food. However, his large size and scary stature often scares away potential customers, which was what nearly happened with Dinda.
He manages to cheer up Dinda, who loved his ramen, and she ends up being his regular patron, and the two of them end up having a friendly relationship.
In the end my pitch went through, and we decided to animate this story, and so we would be further developing the styles and mood boards before beginning the animation process.
